Oops, I forgot about dA for a long period of time again.

I won't be around (and haven't been) all that much. I'm focusing on school since it's my senior year. The grades I get impact what colleges and universities I can get into and the scholarships I can receive, so I'm putting my all into improving my GPA and my class rank. If I can get within the top 10% of my class, I can go to a local community college completely for free. So I'm aiming for that and then planning transfer to a four year school to complete my Bachelor's degree.

I'm ranked 28 as of last Friday, and my class has 210 people. So I need to get at least to number 21. Wish me luck~

I will have some oneshot fics soon....ish. I sent them to my beta reader last week and she hasn't gotten back to me with either, and it'll take anywhere from a day to a few days to discuss and fix errors once she does finish. ><; I am writing, though.

Also, I did get my license and did not get the job I was interviewed for.

I actually got writing done? And I'm working on more.

Today is AkuRoku Day and I'm celebrating by playing 358/2 Days and reading AkuRoku fanfics~ I'd have baked a cake but the heating element in my oven died (it's been threatening to go for two years).

I go for my road test in a week and went for a job interview last weekend. I haven't heard back from them yet, but I was the first one they interviewed so I guess they had to go through a lot of people. I just hope I get it. ;;

Also I can't see Junsu. Asdfghjk.

Half of this might not make sense because I've been working on shit all night and didn't sleep. C:

I took my five hour course after my dad signed me up. It wasn't bad and I wasn't completely without company (though said company still hasn't called me back, it's been almost a week...douchemuffin), and I'm set to take my road test on the 21st of August. I know the three things to make sure to do unless I want to fail: use my blinkers when necessary, check my blind spots when parallel parking and all that shit, and keep control of the car (which basically means, don't pull a douche move and drive with one hand on the wheel and the other fist pumping out the window). Yeah, I got that. Maybe I'll write it on my palm just in case (or would writing it on the windshield in dry-erase marker be too obvious?).

It's a safe bet that I'll be seeing Xia Junsu live at the end of August, which means that I get to see 1/5 of the group that helped dig my sorry ass out of the self-loathing pit last year (I mean, what?). I'm excited and I won't miss it for anything, even if I have to take a goddamn Trailways bus to get down to NYC and back, and tennis practice the next morning be damned.

And speaking of tennis, I'm torn between playing again like I want to and attempting to find a job. I used "finding a job" as an excuse to not to do track last spring, and four months later I'm still not employed. Someone give me a magic 8 ball or something, because I'm still one indecisive mother fucker (and guess who still doesn't know which college she's going to next year? THIS GIRL).

...Coffee is nice. I think I'll go make an omelet.

So apparently I have an pre-interview on Skype tomorrow with MNET for their M University segment and holy shit I think I'm going to die. If all goes well I get accepted and get to be on television.

I'm torn between celebrating that they actually picked me for a pre-interview and crying because nervous.

Crying sounds good. Yeah. I think I'll do that.

Wish me luck because holy fuck I am going to need it.

I did well but the guy interviewing me was good-looking so I was more nervous than I already was.

May. It's at the end of spring, which usually means it's a little bit warmer than the earlier spring months, but it's not summer hot. :3
